UTZMedia tracking updater privacy notice
Updated 13 October 2026. UTZ Media Ltd operates this private tool to add Royal Mail tracking information to its own eBay orders.
This website
The eBay authorization return page receives a temporary authorization code and state in its URL. These are shown only in your browser for you to copy to the local app. The page removes the query string from its current browser history entry. The website does not exchange codes, retrieve orders, or store the code or state. This host has no request access logs, analytics, external assets, advertising, cookies or browser-local storage. Normal network infrastructure necessarily processes connection metadata to deliver the page.
The local tracking app
The app reads your chosen Royal Mail report on your computer and includes only UTZMedia's eBay channel. It uses order references, shipment numbers, service information and despatch dates to match paid eBay orders and update tracking. Customer names, addresses, email and phone numbers are not displayed or saved. eBay responses are used transiently; no report, order history or request payload is written to disk by the app.
Finishing the dry run, clearing the preview or completing an update discards report and order data. Closing the browser requests cleanup; stopping the app clears server memory. Your original report file is not changed or deleted. Outcomes retained on screen after a run contain only source row numbers and statuses.
Account authorization
Seller access and refresh tokens remain only in the local server's memory for its running session. Client credentials are configured locally and never sent to this website. A separately managed credential store or environment-provided refresh token may retain authorization credentials if the operator deliberately configures one. Credentials are separate from order data.
Sharing and control
Authorized tracking updates are sent to eBay. The app does not send your report to this website or another service. You can disconnect by stopping the local app, and revoke the app's seller authorization in your eBay account. Contact UTZMedia through its eBay seller profile for questions about this private tool.
